Pivot to virtual delivery and engagement

Our new online learning platform, MySuperFriend, went live in 2019-20!

In response to clearly articulated needs from our Partners and our Partners’ members, we have increased our internal capacity to design and deliver our own training and solutions.

MySuperFriend allows us to virtually deliver our mental health and wellbeing solutions, providing a wide variety of fresh, interactive training modules and resources for staff. Each module can also be blended with facilitated workshops to embed skills and capabilities.

Learners enjoy a more personalised and engaging experience through fresh, interactive 15-minute modules catering to a variety of competency levels. They have access to a wide range of resources – videos, downloads and tools – to support learning outcomes, embedding of skills, and capability building.

We launched with four courses, made up of multiple interactive online modules and resources, together with an optional facilitated workshop:

  • Workplace Mental Health Essentials for All Staff
  • Workplace Mental Health Essentials for Leaders
  • Positive Interactions for Contact Centre Staff
  • Communications Strategies for Claims Managers

In response to the emergence of COVID-19, SuperFriend released a free, interactive wellbeing check-in called Looking After Yourself. The check-in is designed to support workers with tips and activities to manage their mental health and create their own self-care action plan, based on the principles of the Five Ways to Wellbeing.

The course has received over 1,000 registrations since its release in May 2020, and has been particularly popular with our Partners and their members in the financial services industry.
